Welcome to Leicestershire & Rutland's younger Ramblers group. We organise long and short walks, social events, activity days and trips away. Leicestershire & Rutland Walking Group is a Ramblers group. The majority of our members are in their 30s and 40s but we welcome walkers outside of these ages.

New members are always welcome. The Leicestershire Border Walk uses public footpaths and other ancient highways to closely follow the county boundary. This has created a walk of about miles which is divided into 15 walkable sections of between 8 and 17 miles. The break points were selected to offer a public transport link between the start and finish of each walk.

Walk The Round in easy stages to suit your fitnes levels -and the weather. It took me 18 months to walk, off and on. Every walk was different and it felt an achievement to have completed it at last.
